The Goal
We worked closely with BCIT to answer the question, “How do we showcase the success of our students within their workplaces?”. For this, we knew the production had to film on location while also getting clean crisp audio testimonials of graduates talking about their experiences. BCIT also wanted to target a demographic that digests their information in a short concise timeframe that would lead to their website.
Production
With our goals in mind, we knew we wanted fast-paced quick shots of the grads in the real world doing their jobs. For this, we kept it to a solo operator with a run and gun cinema package and mobile audio solution. This allowed us to pivot and adjust where ever and whenever necessary as our schedules were constantly on the day.
Results
Utilizing the power of targeted ad’s, we helped BCIT get over 450,000+ views to generate leads of more potential students. With over 98% of graduates getting jobs within the first 2 years of graduation, it was important for BCIT to showcase these graduates as examples of where future students can take their careers.
Delivery
Six and 1 helped conceptualize, produce, shoot and edit 3 action packed videos of the graduates within their workforces. We also created stills for their thumbnails on YouTube. The entire production was on budget and on time to roll out for BCIT’s recruitment campaign.
